The International SlavkaSk–IGNA Program Reaches a New Milestone
A high-level delegation from Beston Group paid a professional visit to the pyrolysis plant in
Borsodnádasd on September 9, 2026. The purpose of the visit was a detailed inspection of the
completed technology and the construction work carried out so far, as well as an overview of
long-term cooperation within the international SlavkaSk–IGNA program.
Beston Group's experts examined the installed equipment, its technical condition, assembly
quality, and on-site works in detail. Based on the inspection results, the completed work was
evaluated as high quality and approved.
The delegation confirmed that Beston will send an engineer back to Hungary to assist with
commissioning, inspect technology operations, and train plant operating personnel. This
represents an important professional guarantee that the plant launch will take place in
cooperation with the equipment manufacturer and with appropriate technical backing.
Top-Level Cooperation
One of the most significant events of the visit was the ceremonial signing of a long-term
cooperation agreement.
The agreement was signed by Nash Jia, Vice President of Beston Group, and Ignác Czakó,
Chairman of the non-profit organization SlavkaSk International.
The signed document establishes a foundation at the highest management level for long-term
and close professional and commercial cooperation between Beston Group and SlavkaSk
International Nonprofit. The agreement concerns not only the commissioning and professional
support of the Borsodnádasd plant, but also creates space for the joint preparation of further
projects in Hungary, Europe, and internationally.
An important fundamental principle of the cooperation is that Beston will continue to provide
professional support to ensure proper functioning, further technology development, and the
preparation of new plants planned under the SlavkaSk–IGNA program.
Beston European Demonstration and Model Plant
Under the agreement, the pyrolysis plant in Borsodnádasd can also operate as a demonstration
and model plant for Beston Group.
Beston will be able to direct all interested parties—regardless of geographic location—who
wish to learn about pyrolysis technology, its practical application, operational experience, and
the related comprehensive environmental protection system during operation to
Borsodnádasd.
At the same time, the Borsodnádasd plant will serve as a sales point for Beston pyrolysis
equipment. As a result, the facility will function not only as a production plant in the future,
but also as an international professional, presentation, educational, and commercial center.
Potential partners will be able to personally inspect the entire technological process, gain
direct operational experience, and conduct negotiations on-site for the implementation of
further projects.
This agreement can thus turn Borsodnádasd into one of Europe major presentation sites for
pyrolysis technology.
Hungarian Experts Can Join Further European Development
The Beston delegation inspected the ironworks operated on the premises and personally met
the Hungarian experts who participated in the construction of the pyrolysis plant in
Borsodnádasd and the installation of the equipment.
The delegation praised the work of local experts, their technical readiness, and the quality of
execution.
According to plans, after the successful launch of the plant in Borsodnádasd, Beston could
also establish cooperation with the local ironworks enterprise. This could be of extraordinary
importance in implementing further European plants.
The experience gained within the Borsodnádasd project, the established expert team, as well
as local manufacturing, assembly, and implementation capacities can play a key role in other
European projects.
This emerging cooperation therefore goes beyond operating a single plant. In the longer term,
it can yield new orders, international professional contacts, and additional jobs, while
providing an opportunity for the expertise and work of Hungarian professionals to succeed in
the broader European market.
More Than Just Pyrolysis: A Comprehensive Environmental and Social Program
During the professional meeting, the goals of the international SlavkaSk–IGNA program were
also presented in detail.
A key element of the program is processing hard-to-recycle plastic waste, reducing plastic
entering the environment, and utilizing pyrolysis oil as a raw material in the chemical
industry.
However, SlavkaSk goal is not merely building pyrolysis facilities. We aim to create
comprehensive systems where thermal energy generated during the technological process is
not wasted, but creates additional environmental, economic, and social value.
Beston representatives learned about the heat utilization concept within the program, which
includes using thermal energy generated during pyrolysis for hydroponic plant cultivation.
This solution enables energy-efficient plant cultivation near pyrolysis facilities while creating
additional local jobs. The objective is an interconnected system where waste recovery, energy
savings, food production, and employment mutually reinforce each other.
The Beston delegation welcomed this comprehensive approach and expressed full
commitment to providing all necessary assistance within their professional capacity for
further development and achieving shared goals.
IGNA Buddy Found New International Friends
During the meeting, the Beston delegation also met IGNA Buddy, the friendly symbolic
mascot of the SlavkaSk program focused on environmental protection and awareness raising.
IGNA Buddy mission is to bring the message of environmental protection, fighting plastic
pollution, responsible waste management, and sustainable thinking closer to children,
families, and local communities.
Delegation members warmly welcomed IGNA Buddy and a genuine friendship was forged
during the meeting.
This symbolically expresses that this new relationship extends beyond equipment sales and
technological cooperation. Our shared mission is reducing environmental damage caused by
plastic waste, shaping public awareness, and creating a cleaner, more viable future.
Preparations for Additional Plants Have Begun in Multiple Locations
The Chinese delegation was also informed that preparations for additional plants within the
SlavkaSk–IGNA program are already underway in several locations.
The plant in Borsodnádasd is therefore not a standalone, isolated investment, but the first key
stage of a broader international development program.
Operational, environmental, permitting, and implementation experiences gained in this region
create the foundation for building additional facilities in Hungary and across Europe.
The long-term goal is establishing an international network of plants that process hard-to-
recycle plastic waste locally, generate new economic value, secure jobs, and use as much
generated energy as possible right on-site.
The model plant in Borsodnádasd will serve as a professional, educational, presentation, and
sales center within this system. Thanks to practical experience gained here, future plants can
be built faster, more efficiently, and tailored to local conditions.
Beston Also Expresses Intent to Attend the Ceremonial Launch
Representatives of Beston Group announced their intention to attend the official handover and
opening ceremony of the Borsodnádasd plant.
The grand opening will not merely mark the launch of a new industrial facility. It will be the
official opening of the first pyrolysis plant under the international SlavkaSk–IGNA project
and proof that the environmental, technological, and social vision worked on for years is
achievable in practice.
This event offers an opportunity for Hungarian and international partners, experts, authorities,
local government representatives, and potential investors involved in the project to review
achieved results and future development plans together.
Beston's participation serves as a vital confirmation that the Borsodnádasd plant is not just a
locally significant investment, but the first working reference plant within this international
cooperation.
A Local Plant Will Become an International Professional Center
The visit by the Beston delegation and the signed cooperation agreement mark a major
milestone in the history of the SlavkaSk–IGNA program.
Borsodnádasd is set to simultaneously become:
– A fully functional plastic waste recovery plant;
– Beston Group's presentation and model plant;
– A sales point for pyrolysis technology;
– A location for professional and practical
